[Standard] Standard C156A-is it THAT rare??

Yep, Standard was the best HTs made as fas as I'm concerned. 
I have 2 or 3 C228A dual band 2M/220 HTs & 4 or 5 C288A 220 HTs. 
If I remember right Yeasu Bought them out a few years ago. And 
yes they were expense, but they were built to last. There is only 
1 person who still repairs Standard Radios & I think he was the 
only authorized repair place except for Standard before they 
were bought out.  He still does repairs as far as I know & even 
had some spare parts & accessories or atleast he use to.
