Mike, in the history of numbers stations, listeners were often accused of being all excited about weather stations which do send groups of "code" -yet, as I recall, the weather codes are known... unless they ate crypted for other reasons.

That is to say, at some point I read an article about the method for reading weather data groups versus numbers stations,  but it has been decades ago.
