Not a direct recommendation, unfortunately, but if you're running 
portage take a look at the ham radio section 
(http://www.freebsd.org/ports/hamradio.html).  There's some useful stuff 
in there that, while not directly-intended for DXing, works well in that 
context.

If there's a specific type of package you're looking for, let us know - 
there's more than a few *nix people here, so chances are good that 
someone knows of something that will do what you want.
