I should add that I went to USB mode to move a particularly loud 
heterodyne outside the audio frequency range used to send RDFT. In AM 
mode (without the offset), it was falling right on one of RDFT's pilot 
tone frequencies and confusing DIGTRX.  In USB, it was much lower.  Of 
course, then the exact tuning got way more critical, and when I zeroed 
the start of the first transmission, the dial read 17436.
