I listened to 3700 quite a bit last night and in fact had the receiver set
to that frequency all night. It was pretty quiet except for some CW early
in the evening.

I myself find a 7-second voice signal every 40 seconds far less
objectionable than I have with K1MAN's broadcasts. Even the Russian
Woodpecker was worse, and we managed to get by through that way back when.

I think there were complaints filed with the FCC by a few hams about YS
on 3700, but I really don't think it actually interferes with anyone too
much. I heard SSB chatter on 6500 and 10500 in various languages that
seemed to indicate they were hearing YS, but I'm guessing they were
outside the USA.
