A dinner companion the other night pointed out that "Portland cement"
is apparently a particular variety.  I should be down on Av. Florida
later today, will try to get some photos of the antenna and the
building from both corners.  (I am a known lousy photographer,
though.)

No soap on CW or anything else last night UT 0400-0500+ 6700-7000
kHz.  In fact, the whole dial was dead aside from a lot of fax
traffic and some digital modes.  Surprisingly low noise floor for
an urban setting, though.
