What apparently has been lost in the shuffle is that this is Chris' newsgroup, as is the website. If he doesn't tolerate foul language, he has every right to do what he pleases. In fact, I think he has exercised remarkable self control. When he presented the information to everyone, he added a disclaimer, right up front: 
 "This isn't meant to start off-topic discussions here on the Spooks list,
so please keep any replies to private email, this is a "heads-up"
warning only.  "

Yet, there have been three dozen messages on the topic, despite pleading from Chris in the meantime. 

We should all lean back in our chairs, calmly take a sip of Jim Beam and read what our friend Ary, half a world away from me, has to say and vicariously enjoy a quiet evening with E10. We could all use one.
