Don't think it works that way, Simon. Unless Rob still knows what "Track 1"
stand for, his new MP3s won't give back the details of the transmission.
Every now and then I edit some MP3 (MP3 with tags converted to WAV, WAV
edited, WAV reconverted to MP3) and in the end the tags are gone. There
seems to be a way to add information to a WAV (just chanced to see this
option when fiddling with the myriad of commands of CoolEdit, but apparently
the structure of MP3-tags and WAV-tags is different and they don't recognize
each other's format. So the only chance would be that Rob still knows in
which order he burned these recordings and has still kept his notes - if not
I'm afraid there won't be much chance of recovering these data...
