Then tweak your mailer. Pine & Apple's Mail.app don't do this with any
mailman run list I've seen. When I used to use Eudora -- up through this
fall, at work -- it didn't have a problem with these headers either.

Having all that info available in each message should, in a perfect
world, cut down on a lot of the stock "how do i unsub" newbie mails, as
well as let everyone know where to go for day to day issues. Please don't
make this information disappear, it's too useful to scrap like that.
