[Special-Events] W5D from the National D-Day Museum

The Jefferson Amateur Radio Club will commemorate the 60th Anniversary 
of D-Day with a Special Event Station located inside the National D-Day 
Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The station will use the callsign 
"W5D"  for the event Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6, 2004.  
Operating time will be from 1300 UTC - 2200 UTC concentrating on 20 
meter SSB near 14.250.  Also there will be some CW operation in the 
General Portion of the 20 meter band.

QSL cards are available by sending an SASE to the address below.  
Certificates are available by sending a donation of $2.50 to the 
address below to cover the cost of printing and mailing.  No need to 
send SASE for Certificate.  The certificate will be an 8" X 10"  
reproduction of a large poster signed by WWII Veteran Hams and WWII 
Veteran Radio Operators attending the D-Day Museum on the 60th 
Anniversary Weekend.
