Espresso machines are a curse!

I've had one for decades.  My favorite is the Breville Duo-Temp.  It 
replaced an earlier model (Brevile Die-Cast) that pooped out after about 
15 years.  A double shot of espresso added to a mug of really strong 
coffee is /de-rigueur/ for me.  The curse part comes along when trying 
to buy a cup brewed for consumption by normal people.  It is impossible 
to get a strong enough brew to open the lids.
