MCW sounds so wonderful. A great loss that they banned it on amateur HF. It’s no more intrusive than a regular AM signal. No need for 2400 watts. Most LF beacons run 25 watts of MCW and you can copy them from hundreds of miles away sometimes.

The next time I check the frequency for occupancy a couple of times ("QRL?  QRL?") and get no reply, then call CQ only to be called an ".- ... ..." by some FOC operator for using his personal frequency I'm going to ask if he would mind if I call CQ again a few times using a rig "modulated by modulated continuous wave modulation" and repeat the question just to make sure it is fully understood.
