I have to say, ham radio has sure been a fun hobby. There is always
something to do or to change to if the going gets rough....like now. :-)
I wore myself out getting my 2 meter WAS with EME.

less than four years (I also got a change of assignment in the Air Force
and had to move...I guess). Back then...no fancy computers to dig signals
out of the noise. Today signals many db below the noise can be copied. It
is just not the same.
I miss my QRP operating. That is what I really enjoy and have since maybe
around 1970 or so. My 1.5 million miles per watt one fine day was really
