[SOC] The ARRL Handbook vols. 1-6 just for us old folks

Is it me, or does it seem that the ARRL has somewhat lost its primary mission?
They seem to be more profit motivated and really helping promote Amateur Radio and aiding its membership. 

Many older hams live on pensions and there is no relief for them of the raising costs of its services. 

Thank God for other organizations like SKCC, NAQCC, NJQRP, and 4SQRP to provide some help to those with limited budgets and restricted operational capabilities.

Just my $0.02 worth.
