Howdy Frank, been working on a long term amateur radio
project that is under development. A group of telecommunications
engineers that are tied into the ARRL are exploring and
documenting radio operating techniques. Was approached
last spring about taking part, I thought about it awhile and
started doing it when ever I felt like it.
DBOPT project. Is what they are calling it. I'm actually
getting spots on the RBN during geomagnetic storms.
We reached the G2 level yesterday evening, using qrp
power levels I made one Qso during the disturbed solar
conditions.
Gotta run for now, working 6 days a week this month
at the post office. Will get online again over this weekend.
73 and happy holidays to all.
