byron gage taught EE 495 out of kraus antennas in 1961 and i got to sit
in (he liked radio hams), the chair was a ham.

well i looked at my scribbled up book, and you can get gain out of a
heliz, i stand corrected, i thought it was used mainly for circular
polarization
