I met Wayne many years ago when my QTH was Dover NH. He was giving a
presentation on the first computer made available to the public at WGBH-TV.
His company was going to supply all the software. He was a real showman as
he placed A NICE LOOKING BLONDE just slightly behind him so we'd all be
looking in his direction.
I used to talk with him through one of the early repeaters while he was
skiing at one of the resorts. 73 Bruce ve5rc (I was VE3FCH/W1 at that
time)

He was a character, and certainly never said no to any opportunity or a
challenge. I definite plus for Ham Radio. I'm not sure, but he may have
also been a pioneer with one of the NY City TV stations (WPIX, or WOR,
perhaps)
Being W2NSD he would often be heard saying "Never Say Die"...as a matter of
fact I think that was the heading of his 73 Magazine editorial rants.
Tnx Wayne es 73 de
