we must keep the new contest from the unbelievers, and only for SOC members, kind of like some of the other select contests.

we could advertise extensively making everyone desirous of working the contest (winner gets a free trip to gig harbor WA)

and make anyone who actually turns in a log an honorary member of SOC automatically and then their email in box will be inundated by massive amounts of SOC messages...
