Laid back is the way to go. We muffed the chance of a nominal republic 
back in 1999.

Norm, I very much doubt we'll see another referendum in my lifetime, let 
alone a republic.

On the list of 101 things to do, it's somewhere about 1,000 [sic] in 
voters minds.

Maybe my great-grand-kids will see it, but again, I fear they will have 
far, far more important issues to contend with.

Irrespective, we still live in the best democracy in the world.
