[SOC] ok: off topic and not SOC either

As a Brit I was aware of the first paragraph. It is very senatorial and 
seems modeled on the great edicts of the Roman Empire.  The classical ideals 
of justice and equality, freedom of expression , etc, are all there.

Was not  aware of the nasty bits about the King of England.  Surely that's 
all water under the bridge? It was over 200 years ago for goodness sake. 
Time for a re-write?
