Good one Bob, I enjoyed reading your list.

I do comedy magic ( www.colinsmagic.com ) and often use observational humour 
in my show... Hope there's nothing lost in the translation as it crosses the 
pond...  They worked well when I did a show in Boston a few years back....

Why do supermarkets always put their slowest operators on the express 
checkouts?



I said to this woman the other day; "do you ever feel hysterical?" "No" she
said, "I always feel my husband's!"



Got into trouble in the newsagents the other day, how was I to know the girl
was talking about a lottery ticket when she offered me a "double roll over".



I was chatting up a girl the other day, saying all the usual things and
admiring her hair, I asked if she ever wet her hair in the mornings.  "No"
she said, "I've got a catheter in just now!"



My friend took his mother to stay in a very expensive retirement home; they
looked after her really well, washed her, fed her, bedded her every night in
a freshly made bed and every time she rolled over in her seat in the day
room, they straightened her up again.
Her family came to visit her a few days later and asked how she was getting
on, she was full of praise for the home, care staff and facilities, but
complained that they wouldn't let her have a good fart.
