Any tool with the name "Snap-On" engraved on it.  Always borrowed but never returned by Sons, Neighbors, Buddies and Mid-Night tool theives.  Might as well keep and inventory of Dollar Store tools. at least those don't disapear.

This dictionary describes my set of tools with remarkable clarity.   
The list, however is incomplete and the following addition is offered.

ELECTRIC HEDGE TRIMMER:  A hand held machine used to shorten outdoor  
extension cords while selectively stress testing a ground fault  
interrupt hidden behind other important tools in the garage.  How it  
does this without also stress testing the readably accessible circuit  
breaker is a mystery.
