[SOC] Some genuine ham related topic stuff

I have never used a 30 meter beam, but there are times when I wish I  
had one :)

I have known Eric, N7CL for 25 years but only recently learned that  
he had done antenna design (I always thought of him as a digital  
circuit type because of his association with TAPR and packet radio).
