You make me laugh mate. Unfortunately I'm in my olden days and am a
wine aficionado. Actually many moons back than I care to remember, my
then under age daughter always referred to VB as VD and loved to go to
the Club with Dad and have a "Redback" with Dad. I think that also was
a SA invention.
Back to wine!
Cheaper! Cheaper still if I could DIY reasonable wine.
Our US, Brit, Canadian and others by now have their eyes glazed over.
I have a cousin, around my age, in Queensland who does his own Bourbon.

Yep, learnt that in Surveying in one of my Diploma course's

Well known. But us silly old bugger pensioners [I'm 67} need to go for
value.

Up the road from here, literally, is the Hunter Valley. Prices? You
will die with your eyes open. Go to your local bottle-o and get it
half price.

Same to you Norm, a huge pleasure to make your acquaintance. Good to yarn!

Heh! heh! They're loveable souls. Good people, accurately run the
excavation industry here in Sydney and surrounding areas. I live in
Budgewoi on the NSW Central Coast, 110 km north of Sydney by the lakes
and ocean. Tough life. God's country we believe.
Unkind folks say "It's simply God's waiting room for all you silly old
buggers".
Thanks! :)
