Onya Ian,
VB?????? Forget it - the Enemy starts at Bordertown/Kaniva! About
150 years ago, some drunken surveyer put 8 miles of Vic into SA -
still unresolved - and I don't think we've forgotten it (look at a
really good map and you'll see the anomaly from the nsw border down!)
Or is it the other way around? Anyway, Guinness or no, we brew our
own version - Coopers Stout - and it's not bad, either. Here in
Willunga (60 kilometers south of Adelaide in the McLaren wine
district), we're blessed with an Italian/Catholic// Irish/Catholic
community and it's great. Thems that don't have the Guinness (or
Coopers) have wine and that's the way it should be! I raise my glass
to your late b-i-l, God bless him.
With kind regards
Norm VK5GI
ps you want to know about the Irish Mafia? Try the South Australian
Law Society.....! If you are not Irish, you can't be a lawyer in SA.
