Greetings all,

I'm trying to breathe life back into an old Heathkit HW-2036 which has
either taken a lightning hit or suffered from reverse polarity. I need to
find a source for 3 (at least) Motorola MC4016P IC's. This chip is a 16 pin
DIP and is listed as a 'quad bilateral switch' by Heath (p/n 443-61) or a
'Programmable Modulo-N Counter' by Motorola. It has apparently been
discontinued for some time.

Google returns lots of hits if you search for MC4016P, but all I've found so
far is places where you can send an RFQ, and they typically want a minimum
order of $100 or more.

Any help in finding a source that I can purchase 3 - 6 of these chips would
be greatly appreciated.

I've also discovered that MC74416P and/or MC4316P MAY be suitable subs for
the MC4016P, but have not been able to confirm that info. I THINK that
MC74416P is a good number, but unfortunately it too is hard to come by.

Thanks in advance.

Mike
