Today, Christmas Eve is going to be a scorcher at 39C [102F] and near the 
seaside at that. God knows what inland will get. Risk of bushfires is extremely 
high.

No white christmas here.

Tomorrow promises to be a more comfortable 26C to spend with family and friends.
