I agree with all of that, and I had to add that I once spent about 2 months
in Singapore. Around the corner from the hotel I was staying in was a family
owned Indian restaurant. I ate dinner there almost every night! It was some
of the best food I had on that trip, as I didn't take too a lot of the local
foods (although one seafood place was great!). I got to be quite friendly
with the owners, and it got to the point that I would say "Just bring me
something different" as it was all very good. If I ever make it back that
way I'll have to look them up...
