True, I only knew one "cardiac cripple" but he was always his own worst enemy,
even when we were teenagers he was a worry.

Actually one of the one's I knew with a bypass did indeed dig ditches, we were
plumbers together.

He was back at work in under three months but no longer allowed to work for
himself, there is too much stress in contract work. He went to work for a big
organisation, he couldn't believe he was making more money, no worries and
working at half pace with less hours a week.

Still with us although he later developed non-related medical problems.
