Dear Yanks,

Just been watching coverage of your 100mph "hurricane" on the BBC.

Sorry, but it's been a long time in the waiting, and it's just too good =
to miss.

"Hurricane?, you call that a hurricane, boi"?.
"Lemme tell ya, where I come from we call that a sea breeze".
"You don't know what a wind is until you've stayed a stormy winter's =
night in Whitehaven"
"What you'ze got there is what we call a zephyr, ... the merest air kiss =
from a passing butterfly's wings".

Seriously though...hope your attack of wind passes without too much =
grief, and nobody except looters gets badly hurt.
You will probably get your own back soon enough. We usually get a visit =
from your second-hand hurricanes about ten days later, when they work =
their way across the pond.
