An interesting story on Ronnie:

Just before he completed his term of office, the former Mayor of New York,
Rudolph Giuliani granted the Australian media a press conference.

Prominent on his office wall was an autographed photo of fellow Republican,
Ronnie.

Rudolph Giuliani said. "You know, he was among the finest Presidents we ever
had, misunderstood my many, far more intelligent than he was ever given credit
for. I guess his folksy style was just his public persona"

"Ronald Regan, in person was nothing like the image projected in the media,
that was somewhat deceptive for whatever reason, in actual fact he was quick to
grasp core issues, and very resolute in making sensible decisions under the
circumstances of the time".
