Let's look back over history on this then, shall we?

In no particular order, were the peoples of places like Vietnam, Croatia,
Cosavo, etc., any better off after the hell was bombed, shelled and shot out
of them?

The people of the places that will be bombed and shot up by the US and UK
military are very unlikely to thank them for doing it.  Otherwise, why are
there still people in Vietnam and Ireland that hate to high heaven the
armies and governments of our two countries even now?  And you think that
the peoples of Arab countries are really going to be pleased to see us?!
With all the hundreds of years of history of imposing 'our' solutions on
them.
