No stigma against anyone mentioned so far, but I was a teenager in the 1970s
in Birmingham, UK, when the IRA claimed responsibility for bombing two
nightclubs in the city centre. One was called the "Tavern in the Town". It
was a cellar (imagine the Cavern Club in Liverpool - famous for a group
later to be known as The Beatles) and there would have been no way out.

Then again, the Police in Birmingham also framed several people for
commiting crimes which they were later proven not to have committed, so I'm
no big fan of our Boys-in-Blue in Birmingham either!

However, it came as a shock when the source of funds for the IRA was
apparently traced back to the USA. I wonder what would be the reaction if
funds for attacks in the USA were traced to another country in the world?
