Hi Bob,
For reasons of cost, I've been persuaded not to go for the K2 at the moment.
(Well, that and Katie eyeing the gun cabinet ;-))
Also, I have a very respectable HF receiver already and a Marconi 2019A sig.
gen.(80 kHz - 1.04 GHz) which will make a superb (if somewhat cumbersome)
VFO.
I'm just going to have to do the 'intermediate' exam so I can build and use
my own stuff (legally...). Patience is a virtue. Gnash.
