[SOC] Iambic

Hello, Hiroshi.
Yes, Iambic comes from the English language, although the word has probably
been stolen from someone else.
It refers to the tempo, or rythym, of words in poetry.
I am no poet (or perhaps I am a poet, but don't know it) so the only example
of iambic, 'rythmic' words I can think of is:-

"Round and round the ragged rock the ragged rascal ran".

Perhaps an unfortunate choice ;-) Get your revenge by sending me some
Japanese poetry to 'pronounce'.

Regards,
Chris Redding G4PDJ

Subject: [SOC] Iambic

Hello SOC members,

My name is Ted, JA1VJQ and I recently joined this
mailing list. Also I'm a member of JARL A1(means CW)
Club in Japan. The # of membership is over 500 people
one of the largest CW Club in Japan, but most of members
are begginer, so no one could answer to my question.

The question is, where is the word of "Iambic" come from?
Is this toolship from England?
Is this someone's name who invent Mode A and Mode B?
or some technical jargon?
Please let me know.

Regards,
Hiroshi "Ted" Mochimaru
