I recall around 1976 sitting in the office of a colleague one afternoon,
waiting for him to appear so we could go out and enjoy a glass of whiskey.
I was reading an article about computers in business in _Iron_Age_
magazine. After going over a page or so, it struck me that the words used
were rather intriguing. I stopped reading and went over the first two
paragraphs carefully, determining that fully 25 pervent of the words either
had not existed 25 years previously or were usen with entirely different
meanings from those of 25 years past. =20
An intelligent person from 25 years or so prior could have examined that
article and had no concept at all of what it was all about.=20
Wonder how fast things are moving now.
