[SOC] Northern Hemisphere Weather

It's all in what you get used to.  High heat is not common in northern
europe, and they have little air-conditioning 'cause they seldom need it.
For comparison, when I was in Arabia daily temperature was typically 46 to
49C, and sometimes warmer.  Of course no-one is on the street in the
daytime, stores open around 4:30-5:00 pm, and people come out at night when
it cools to maybe 38C.  Outdoors in the daytime is like walking through an
oven, and nights are pretty hot too.
