When I lived in Arizona, we had lots of snowbirds.  They are folks who
move to the warmer climates at the first signs of winter.  I sold my
house there to some folks from Seattle who now live in Arizona from
October to April.  I have lived near Seattle for nearly 3 years and
fortunately have not experienced a "real" winter yet (no snow yet this
year), but my chance will certainly come eventually.  I'll gladly take
that in exchange for missing the 115 F (46 C) summers.
