Actually that film was the only one of his which I have seen.  It was
quite funny and very un-politically-correct.  I Just did an internet
search and found that de Fun�s made a whole series of "gendarmes"
movies, but I don't recall ever hearing about them.  Perhaps they were
not released in the U.S.  I have seen several of Jacques Tati's films,
however.  My favorite of these was "Mon Oncle".  This was many years
ago.
