I understand that in Queensland a woman decided she was too drunk to drive,
so she put her five-year-old in her lap and told him to steer while she
worked the pedals.  Both of them, as well as another child with them, were
injured when the car ran off the road and into a tree.

And I once thought women from Oz were pretty sharp, but maybe I've just
based that too much on Helen Reddy.
