Bonjour tous,
Gud Afternoon to our fellow Ian & Ian,
Let's see what we have here...
Big Chief Bob reminds me that I am still doing too much noise..
Bob, do you remember these golden old days where the SOC ML was still
hosted "elsewhere" and when we were hardly getting ONE email per week ?!!
That was just before I joined ... How calm were those days, n'est-il-pas ?
By that time, you were still able to read the "DEL" letters printed on the
keyboard. Well, I may supply you will some new "del key" caps, to be used when
yours will not be usable/readable anymore ;o)
(hey, that IS an idea ... the "DEL Key" award ... )
BTW, if your wife Juli comes in France, she will gain an "e" -> Julie.
Cf. also "Juliette". So by extension, we _may_ say that Bob is an other
nickname for Romo ...
<< Rob shouted :
YEE-HAW! CRANK UP THUA BILLA RAY CY-RUS AND PLANT SUM KAW-RN!
THAYNK GAWD IHMUA CAWNTRY BAWWWYYYY!!!
>>
Bon, les p'tits gars, faudrait voir causer correct sinon j'y mets aussi avec
mon jargon !
Ah mais alors ...
<<
Sometimes I add OJ (postscript for Claude's benefit).
>>
Merci Bob ;o)
I am just sorry you are putting WATER in the OJ ... Shame on you !
<< Ian the TIPer said :
No surprises there. Must have gone to political college in OZ.
>>
Ah pardon, mon Ami ... Je m'insurge devant une telle envie de vous accaparer
cela. Vous n'avez pas le monopole dans ce domaine.
French political colleges are AS good as yours !
And I guess the training is a rather international one in fact ...
As for MTBE/Ethanol thread, my bicycle is OJ powered; and I keep the fruits'
skin for cake cooking. So I _think_ I'm OK.
Seriously speaking now : here for some years they are trying the Ethanol stuff,
but not so widely used. The main source is beet, as far as I know.
The Diesel has lost a great part of its advantage (read "tax advantages" : the
price of the liter used to be 100% cheaper, now it is 25% I think, not sure).
The new thing "a la mode" is called "GPL" (Gas de Ptrole Liqufi), Liquified
Petroleum Gaz (in fact a mix of butane and propane). You just have a bottle of
liquified gaz in your car. This has been used years ago, when we had some
foreign "tourists" in the country; but the new version is cleaner. The GPL is
cheaper than the "95/98", it is said to be cleaner, even if it requires more
care (you are more or less carrying a bomb in your car).

http://www.agpl.com/what-is-lpg.htm (English).
The Electric powered cars are used too, but on a vy small scale.
Bob (#001), now comes the moment to look at your DEL key ;o)
But tnx indeed for reading to the end ;op
72!
