Ahhh, I remember the "TV Tax" when I was in G-Land in the early '80's!  They 
had those little white vans driving around the base to check and see if we 
had a TV and paid the tax!  Well, they couldn't tell the difference between 
a "taxable", i.e. PAL format TV and an "exempt" i.e. NTSC format TV.  We 
could have the NTSC format TV's to watch videos and not pay the TV tax.  Hi 
Hi... when they left we flipped the switch and now it was able to rx BBC and 
ITV!  Something in the American culture about paying British Taxes (sorry 
Chris) :^)
