Yep, same here but with some variant in the rules :

Location : usually in suburbs of main cities (Paris, Lille, Lyon,
Strasbourg)

Time : Friday and/or Saturday evening. Holidays period (Xmas, N.Year,
14th of July) preferred.

(Stock) Car : usually "borrowed" to someone w/o him/her knowing.

Main Contesters : usually "youngs from the suburbs", aka "Gangs".

Optional Contesters : Cops

Rules : Drive as fast as possible in the streets, bumping as much as
possible parked cars. Primary goal being to end the race with an
absolutely unusable car (eventually ending in a giant car BBQ), w/o
being caught by the Optional Contesters if any. Secondary goal : mark
your territory.

Prize : Unknown of me, but there must be one (except the Secondary
goal of the rules).

These races are from time to time broadcasted in a show called "TV
News", but not too often otherwhise that would not be politically
correct anymore.

Bof ... sri for the QRM ... back in my hole.
