Better know how to drive in you intend to steal a car
[2003-01-03 11:28]
EDMONTON (Reuters) - The two young Canadians who attempted on 01/01 to steal
the car of a pizzas deliverer have failed, having clearly forgotten that, to
escape with a car, it was necessary to know how to drive.
The police of Edmonton, in the State of Alberta, reports that the two teenagers
have begun by demanding the deliverer the four pizzas that he transported as
well as all the money he was bringing. Abruptly changing their mind, they then
climbed in his car.
Once behind the wheel, one of the young thieves has realized that the gearbox
was not an automatic one and that he was incapable to operate neither the
clutch nor the speed lever.
Disconcerted, the duet has then returned to its initial project, running away
with the pizzas.
"It was either one, pizzas or car. They knew at least how to use the pizzas",
has declared a policeman.
The two teenagers have been arrested and the pizzas retrieved.
