OK: here's some ARC (amateur radio content): Just
want to share that there's a kit available from the
NJQRP called the "sniffer," a multiband RF meter.
http://www.njqrp.org/sniffer/ It's the kit for an
upcoming QRP convention in Baltimore, MD, called the
Atlanticon. Although I live 30 minutes away, I may not
be able to attend, due to a schedule conflict.
But... I got the kit! It's only US $10.00!!! DX? US
#13.00!!! They're going to have a rollicking, riotous
event featuring these things and hidden, moving xmtrs
on various bands that sounds so fun that I may need to
get a babysitter so I can attend...but the point of
all this sharing is...for some reason, the prospect of
building this thing, which is built "manhattan-style,"
has filled me with excitement and thrills that are
hard to understand...unless you like this sort of
thing. Such fun, and learning, and a valuable tool to
use (hopefully) at the end!
I need lists like this so I can share this stuff
with them as might get it. Thanks.
