I found a program called "Scanner Recorder" that I think a few here might be
interested in. The basic idea is that you hook the mike input of your
soundcard to the audio output of your scanner. Then this program acts as a
VOX recorder, saving all the audio it hears to a .wav file on your hard
drive.
I even tried it out on my HF rig, and the adjustable squelch it comes with
succesfully worked on a roundtable on 80, even with loads of static crashes!
You can get it at http://www.davee.com/scanrec/index.html
(YMMV, IMHO, Standard Disclaimers, yadda yadda)
I've been using it for about the past hour or so. Does a good job of what
it says it does!!
