Curiously I've just come from another forum where the moderator had to state
that posts denigrating either people or their country advances no cause except
creating further division.

I can only speak for myself, but I find this France bashing is at best boring,
at worst extremely offensive.

I do not recollect anyone, anywhere, on any forum I have visited, posting
derogatory and offensive comments about the American flag, the British flag or
the Australian flag.
