[SOC] FT-8900

Greetings all,

I know this is off-topic for SOC... but then again being off-topic IS kind
of SOC, isn't it?  Anyway...


I've been thinking about splurging on a new rig for my truck and have been
thinking about the FT-8900R.  I'd like to hear comments from folks who are
using one... good, bad or indifferent.  I'm also interested in hearing what
type of mobile antenna systems you're running with it.  Since it's quad band
with only 1 antenna plug, I'm considering the Comet UHV-6 (40m thru 70cm).
I already tried the Yaesu list, but didn't get much of a response.

Thoughts?
