When I started to get messages like this - and there
are a lot of variants - I laughed at the transparent
lunacy of the scam. For fun, and to see what the pitch
was, I answered a few, as in, "Sure, I'm your guy!
Sounds good to me," [note comma inside paren.]etc.
Then, I discontinued replying after getting a request
for my account #, social security #, etc.
Maybe this is why I get, literally, a bazillion of
these. (...a literal bazillion is very many.)
I can only assume that, as with most things, when the
numbers are huge, a small percentage work, and poor
fools get fleeced. Incroyable!
