The comma goes inside of the quotation mark
at the end of this sentence, Sir.

Instead of using "...it's downright inappropriate,"
you should have used a hyphen. Also, you used
two punctuation marks at the end of this sentence.
You should have only used the exclamation point.

Again, the comma goes inside of the quotation mark.
"..." means (literally) "and so on." It's not appropriate
to use it the way you've used it here, Lloyd.
 

Now, let's talk about doing REALLY stupid stuff, such as
flaming people for grammatical errors. Everyone makes them
-- including me! -- and flaming someone for making them in
an informal environment is down-right ludicrous and a waste
of time. This is NOT an English classroom!
